Alien Cat

This cat is named 'Alien Cat.' My husband named it because of the big green eyes... This cat is his favourite actually!

Dutch Rabbit & My Little Mate Doris

Today I tried painting a small Dutch Rabbit. I hope you will like it!

Look at this! My little Gerbil Doris:) She came to say 'Hello!' to the rabbit:) The rabbit looks petrified of Doris even though it is a stone!

But soon she decided not to be a friend with the rabbit and started grooming herself. Doris is nearly 4 years old but still looks like a baby gerbil in this photo. So cute isn't she?

Moody Tabby Cat

He looks a bit moody. Maybe because I have taken off the blanket he was snuggling in. Sorry!

Flowers

Oh, dear...I have left this saya-saya blog for a long time...

If there are people who have been looking forward to a new article, I am very sorry.

Recently I have tried flowers on a stone. Hmm...the colour is a bit darker in the picture than the real ones.

I have painted these flowers for a local craft fair that will be held in November. I thought local people would have stalls in the fair and said to the organizer who is my frirend, "Yes, I can do that!", but I have discovered the fact recently. Professional craft workers and traders from all over Britain will come and sell there. Local people (actually one couple) will only do the tombola.
Oh, nooooo...I regret I said, "I can do that!" with a big smile. I have got out of my depth. I always do this, saying "OK" and saying "OH, NOOOO!" I must sing Ooops! ...I Did It Again by Britney Spears.

I hope I can paint good quantities of stone by the craft fair. Hurry up, me. Being lazy...that is another problem of mine, OH, NOOOOO!

The guinea pigs I painted recently are going to be my friend's soon. I am happy for them, but I am missing them a little bit at the same time:)

Pink Nose Cow

It was beautiful today here in Worcestershire. I appreciated the crisp early spring day, the blue sky, the gently bright sunshine with the icy cold air and flowers heralding the start of the spring-snowdrops, crocuses and daffodils.

Look. He was also one who was enjoying the sun.

He looks like he's still a calf. I hope he has retuned to his mother safely now:)

Dodgy Cat

Maybe it's just me, but this cat looks a bit dodgy to my eyes.

When I painted it, I thought, 'Oops I've painted an ugly one!' But for some reason this cat has become my favourite.

I cannot help looking at him and imagining that he's speaking the human language after I go to bed. He looks somewhat dubious...looks like quite an intriguer...and he might call other cats and hold an assembly after I go to bed... He makes me imagine things like that, I am worried about myself!

Mmm...I have created such a weird cat.

Grey Kitten

Size: about 6cm×5cm (2.5 in.×2 in.)

He has been adopeted by my husband's auntie now:)

Tabby Cat

I like cats! Cats are beautiful! Cats are clever! Cats, they melt my heart.

I have a lovely lady cat in my parent's house and I miss her a lot. She was a 1-2 month-old abandonded kitten when I first met her in a street 15 years ago. She was only the size of my hand.

That was the moment of destiny. Soon she started walking with me quietly, but very happily, with her chin up. We walked together to my 3rd floor student flat (4th floor in American way), climbing stairs. I was not allowed to keep pets in my student flat but I accidentally opened the door and she walked in just like it was her own home, and I said to myself, 'Oh, I've done it!' There was no possible way that I could abandon her, so being a bit naughty I allowed her to stay.

Now she is an old lady. My mother said the other day that she's having a bit of health problem due to her age. She has had a good life, though:)

Oh, cats. They have been always around me, even before I came into the world. But sadly, my current living environment is not very suitable for having a cat.

However! I have a quite a few STONE CATS here!

My favorite pastime is painting animals on stones. I painted this Tabby Cat the other day. He makes good company and none of the mess:) One day I will have a real one, though. You can't beat the feeling of cuddling a real fluffy cat, can you?
